Yaso Media is a comprehensive desktop media toolbox application engineered with Python 3.12 and PySide6 (Qt) to handle video, audio, image, document, and utility operations seamlessly in one unified interface.
It features high-speed YouTube video and audio downloading powered by yt-dlp with batch URL support, lossless format conversion and CRF-based compression via FFmpeg, AI-driven background removal powered by rembg and ONNX, and full-featured PDF manipulation (merge, split, page reordering, image conversion).
Furthermore, it integrates multi-algorithm cryptographic hashing (MD5, SHA1, SHA256, SHA512), instant QR code generation, and a safe two-phase batch file renamer with persistent rollback journals. With its responsive multithreaded background job queue, operations run smoothly with real-time progress indicators.
